Chalet du Bois was the perfect place to celebrate my 75th birthday with my family. There was plenty of room for the adults on the first and second floor with a private bedroom and bath for each couple. The basement was a play/ sleep area for the grandkids, complete with pool table for early morning or after dark entertainment. The kitchen was well appointed with top of the line appliances and was spacious for all the cooks in our family. The dining table in front of the floor to ceiling windows was a perfect spot for dining, family laughs and game playing. The very short walk to the beach made it possible for all of us to come and go to the extremely clean sandy beach. We enjoyed the hot, hot weather at the beach and looked forward to the ample AC on our 90 degree days. We appreciated the garage for easy loading and unloading and for the beach toys we could borrow. On our last night we used the fire pit to make s’mores after watching the glorious sunset at the beach. I’m so glad I found Chalet du Bois for my birthday celebration with my family. I know future guests will enjoy the amenities of Chalet du Bois for their family get together.

Loved this house and its location. Very easy walk down to the (gorgeous) beach every day, and a great, well-stocked kitchen to cook in. We spent our whole trip going back and forth from the beach to the house, except for an outing to pick blueberries. Couldn't ask for a better trip. Load up on groceries before you arrive because there aren't many nearby supermarkets!

This home was lovely for our family. We could all sit together for meals either outside or inside. Very well-equipped and it felt like we were in a tree house. Nice access to a beautiful beach.

The house was extremely clean, the kitchen was well stocked, we had plenty of towel and everything was well cared for.

Our family had a great time at the house. Plenty of room for everyone, very short walk to the beach. (Be ready for the 62 stairs to go down to the beach.) Our only regret is that, when we went online to try to book the house for one of a couple of periods next summer, everything was booked.

Property is a short walk (2 minutes) to public beach access at Cherry Beach. Excellent location, home is well stocked and exceptional. Beach items in garage were helpful. I would return here again.
