Lake Michigan Adventures

Cute cottage nestled in the woods, just off the main road. Comfortable with all conveniences and a lovely four season room to enjoy the trees and watch nature. Clean and comfortable, and we were very happy we could bring our four legged furry family member! Would come back in a minute!

-This cottage is as described. We travelled with four adults and one dog. Two bedrooms with queen beds, two half baths with shared shower. Kitchen updated with great appliances- there is a dishwasher, side-by-side refrigerator with door water and ice. Stocked with necessary pans, utensils, etc. Minimal spices/oil, etc. Great plus - dishwashing soap/dishwasher soap/new kitchen sponge/bathroom hand soap and shampoo/conditioner were all provided. Very comfortable beds available in adequate spaced bedrooms. Awesome large, private beach- no crowds, pet friendly. 5 - 10 minute walk down a shaded lane, private entrance across the street. As typical of Michigan beach entrances path with some roots to get to the steps down to beach. There are 70ish steps with rest landings built in. This cottage has beach towels, backpack chairs, and beach umbrella for use. All in great condition. There are close neighbors and all were kind and friendly. Overall, this cottage is a gem.

Wonderful neighborhood, great beach access, close to everything! This smaller home is perfect for a small family, my husband and son loved having a home base while spending time with our extended family in Lakeside. Beach ready with chairs, towels, and umbrellas. Good sized BBQ grill too. Wonderful week!

After reading some of the other reviews, I had expected a little less for this property. However, it exceeded our expectations! The house was extremely clean and well stocked. It is a cabin in the woods, so there is a slight stale smell that you get used to after 5 minutes. The house was stocked with everything you need for cooking and for going to the beach. The beach walk was 5-7 minutes, it was a a beautiful walk through the neighborhood and down the stairs to the lake. The beach is so beautiful and not packed since it is private to the homes. We had our dog with us and enjoyed multiple walks on the beach every day. We will definitely visit this cabin again, it was so relaxing and quiet.

Nice location. Some what of a tired property that was overpriced.

Rustic comfort. Great location, right off of Red Arrow and walkable neighborhood beach access It’s a great value. Keep in mind that there is not a dishwasher, washer or dryer and as long as you prepare for that it’s all good!
