All the bedrooms and enough bathrooms for everyone. Enough amenities and ample space including the great big basement with two bedrooms downstairs. Making it 6 bedrooms.
Had a great time with family for our annual Christmas getaway weekend. The house accommodated us well and a Beautiful house and property. One negative was that there were NO TV 's in any of the bedrooms except the master bedroom???? What a disappointment and for the cost to stay in this luxurious home. It is winter time and outdoor activities were off the table. We all had to watch what someone else was watching on the 2 TV"s in the house. What a Bummer!
Another great visit to the castle!
The property is clean, comfortable, and well-kept. We loved the hot tub, sauna, and kayaks — great amenities that made our stay relaxing and fun. The house was tidy inside and out, and the fire pit and dock areas were very nice. A few things could be improved, like the water quality and pressure. A few window shades didn’t function properly, and mattress comfort, but overall, it was a great place to stay. We’d definitely come back!
My review is similar to others on here, as I would give it a 7.5/10, with the big downside being attention to detail with cleanliness and overgrown landscape. However with that said, I would 1000% stay here again. The pros: They do have great amenities- a blackstone, a natural gas powered fire overlooking the lake, hot tub, and 5 kayaks. Also a key card that allowed access to tennis courts and the pool! The communication with the managers was amazing! Anything you could need they are there. It is pretty secluded with trees in between properties which was nice. Nice TVs and WiFi as well. You do get 1 towel per person but there is a washer and dryer there if needed. I would advise to Bring cleaning supplies (Lysol, dish soap, extra trash bags maybe, kitchen towels, etc. Some of the cons were that the Front bushes were hanging over walkway and needed trimmed, some blinds and lights in house do not work, there was stuff on the wall in the downstairs bathroom that could have been wiped off. The Outside boat dock area also needed a good cleaning. We understand the upkeep of a house of that size is a lot. I just think a little more cleaning and maintenance would truly be a game changer. Overall- it was GORGEOUS, nice to sleep, amenities were great, and would go again!
The property at Dream Lake Castle was beautiful. The neighboring houses were close, but the trees provided shade as well as seclusion. The house was large enough for my big family to spread out and feel comfortable. I think the best part of the stay was the access to the kayaks, boathouse, dock, and the fire pit. The kitchen was well stocked, which was such a relief. There were plenty of dishes, silverware, barware, and cookware. The overall experience was so enjoyable. I received many compliments from my family about choosing the right place to stay for our get together.
