Lazy Lake Escape

A beautiful, brand new, spacious, and modern home on the lake!! What's not to love??? We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Lakeside Home. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully prepared. The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and stocked with all the little touches that make a getaway feel special. The lake views were gorgeous—especially in the morning—and the outdoor spaces, including the fire pit and wrap-around balcony, made it easy to relax, unwind, and enjoy the peace and quiet, as well as the view of the lake. The layout of the home was perfect for our group, with comfortable bedrooms and a great common area for cooking, hanging out, and spending quality time together. Oh and I cannot forget the game room with pool and poker tables, darts, tv, and arcade machine. Communication with the host was excellent and effortless. Check-in was smooth, and we truly felt taken care of throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. Highly recommend this rental, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

We had an absolutely amazing time at Lazy Lake Escape! Our large group found the house to be the perfect getaway, offering something for everyone. The kids were thrilled with the indoor slide and jungle gym, keeping them entertained for hours. The house was stocked with an incredible selection of toys, games, and books, making it a dream for families. The indoor entertainment options were endless—pool table, air hockey, ping pong, arcades, and even a poker table! There were plenty of comfortable lounging areas to relax and take in the beautiful, tranquil views. Our only complaint was that most of the bathrooms didn’t have functional locks, which led to some awkward moments. It would be great if that could be fixed for future guests. That aside, it was the perfect setting for an extended weekend, and we can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend for families and groups looking for a fun and relaxing escape.

What a beautiful house! It's sparkly clean and well-equipped with kitchen equipment, furniture, bedding and plenty of towels. It's a little less private than some other places but it wasn't an issue for us in winter. We were a group of adults but wished we had a dozen kids with us who could've used all the fun games, toys and entertainment. Everything works and everything is comfortable. Excellent stay!

The house was perfect! The pictures don't do it justice. We had all age groups and everyone was happy. The little kids loved the slide and the playground and just running up and down the stairs playing hide and seek. Ages 17 and up loved the downstairs area. It's a whole man cave down there. I love that the air hockey table turns into table tennis. We couldn't get the arcade game to work, but they were fine without it. The fire pit was definitely the biggest hit. They had that going every night. The view was beautiful and made waking up early to cook so much better. This isn't the original house I wanted, but it ended up being the perfect house for us. It worked out better then I could have imagined.

This beautiful home was the perfect setting for my annual womens retreat. The home was incredibly clean, inviting, and cozy. The multiple gathering spots within the home were perfect for the group to relax and enjoy individual time. The amenities were plentiful! The kitchen was AMAZING!! I'd only offer that the kitchen cooking utensils can be upgraded. Our group did not watch television but I did notice there were plenty of televisions available which would be great for large families. The bedrooms were so nice and beds were very comfortable. I do recommend putting step stools next to the taller beds. I'm 5 feet tall and it was a little difficult getting g into the talker bed in basement level. The outside was so relaxing with an awesome fire pit and plenty of wood for a nice fire at night. The lake was very peaceful and though there are neighbors on both sides of the property, we didn't notice anyone which made it feel like the wonderful retreat it was. It is very evident the home owners care about this property. It is well maintained, supplied with great playtime amenities such as dart board, pool table, arcade game, outdoor toys, and fire pit. The 3D tour was helpful for me in determining if the space would work for our retreat! We loved everything about the home and are already thinking about renting for next year.

If you're looking for a great place with many amenities, this is it. The house was beautiful and exceeded all expectations. Our young kids had a blast with the indoor jungle gym and slide. Will definitely stay again!
