We loved the home and the tranquility of this property. It allowed us to hang out and enjoy the beautiful view with friends. Also visited the lake Anna brewery and listened to great music. The owners have thought of everything we will be back.

Lake Effect exceeded all expectations! It was the perfect place for our family getaway. From the beautiful décor throughout to the stunning views of Lake Anna morning and night, everything about this home felt peaceful and welcoming. Our favorite part was spending time on the deck—morning coffee, lunches, dinners, and plenty of laughs—while enjoying the lake views. We played yard games which are all provided with this home, fished, and ended our evenings relaxing by the fire pit. This home truly had everything we needed and more. It was stocked with essentials beyond anything we’ve experienced in a rental. Spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, there were plenty of rooms for everyone to spread out—whether to watch TV, play a round of family cards or just to hang out. The basement was a dream for the kids with endless entertainment including shuffle board, pool table, basketball & more. The EV charger was a huge plus, especially since there aren’t many nearby, and the easy-to-access boat slip made our daily adventures on the water—tubing, boating, and more—so convenient. We’ve stayed at many vacation homes, but none have been as well prepared and family-friendly as this one. We can’t wait to return and make more wonderful memories!
