The dock and lake view. House not so much.

There was only one working shower. For the past two months prior to our visit people in the guestbook spoke about the broken shower as well. I called the guest number and spoke to someone and they said they would send someone out. Nobody reached back out for four days. The one shower that was working was very small for adults.

We really loved the location of this house, the boardwalk down to the lake, and the lakeside deck. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of towels, and blankets. The furniture though could use updating, especially the bathrooms. We would come back to this location in a heartbeat, but the homes layout and features would have us choose otherwise. We still had a great trip making memories with our family.

Our stay at the rental property was decent overall. The location was convenient. However, a few things could use some improvement. The bedrooms and bathrooms were a bit outdated, and the outdoor patio area wasn’t as clean or inviting as we had hoped — the furniture was worn and unusable. We also found the kayaks covered in dust and spider webs, so we had to clean them ourselves before using them. With a bit more attention to maintenance and cleanliness, this place could be a much better experience.
