This home is in a very private area and on the lake. Very friendly Lake Anna is beautiful.
Beautiful house but needs maintenance. There are no paddles for kayaks or life jackets.
Good location, perfect lake access. Large dock. Spacious house. Large kitchen. But property needs some love, especially decks around the house.
Our childhood friend group of 11 adults in our 30s stayed here for a week in the beginning of June. The kitchen and living room areas were great for accommodating all of us and we were able to make the bedroom arrangements work for us. We loved that the house was on the water, although we were right next to a main road so there was additional noise that we could have done without. Not a deal breaker though. The lakeside deck is huge and recently updated and is where we spent the majority of our time. We enjoyed our stay, however...we did have several issues. A/C needs to be updated or something. The master bedroom was freezing and didn't even work on the main level. A huge ceiling fan is in the living room, but no way to turn it on. When we reached out to Vacasa for assistance, we got no response. Some things just didn't work. Half of the microwave buttons don't work, some of the light switches, even the labeled ones, did nothing. Some of the lights were so dim in the bedrooms that all we could do was laugh. There was a kayak on the dock for use, but there was only a one sided ore, obviously broken, which made it almost impossible to use. The outside needs some serious TLC. Almost all of the furniture was unusable, covered in algae, dirt and bugs...we didn't even want to touch it. The landscaping also needs to be cleaned up. Not only would it look nicer, but the bug problem would be better controlled. I know we're by the lake and surrounded by trees, but the spiders and bugs were everywhere. I've used Vacasa in the past for vacations and had similar issues with cleanliness and upkeep. Seems to be a running theme. The houses always have potential if they would just do better.
Water front home with spacious deck on the water. The diving board was very inviting, too bad it was mid April with cold water. Definitely recommend this home for a great Lake Anna get away
