Lakefront Tranquility at Smith Mountain Lake - Moneta, VA

Highly recommend this property. Lots of fun games and amenities. Great location. Very comfortable and spacious.

We rented for VT fall break, picking up our CoC freshman and getting him more than 50 miles from campus. It served our purpose wonderfully. We had a great time drinking wine on the dock, sitting in the hot tub, and throwing darts. Visited several vineyards and sampled the local restaurants. The downstairs bedroom served as a great sanctuary for the college student. Grandparents loved the master with view of the lake. Having a second King was a plus, as many rentals have only one King bedroom. Plenty of bathrooms. Place was immaculately clean and furniture was all very comfortable.

It was a beautiful drive up from NC. This home is clearly loved by its owners, God bless them for making it available when they are not enjoying it! The house was clean, beds were comfy, there were multiple well-appointed dens and outdoor areas to gather. The kitchen had all that we needed (including some spices, wasn't expecting that bonus!), we used the laundry, the gas grill, the sundeck down by the dock, and the hot tub. I only wish we had stayed long enough to play foosball and to visit some of the local attractions. But spending the whole day cruising the lake (lots of boat rental spots are nearby) was the highest and best use of our short stay. Highly recommend!

Nothing but woods to the side of the house so it feels very private. We especially enjoyed cooking steaks on the grill while watching the deer below. Lake view while not overwhelming, was just very serene. Beds were comfortable with tvs in all the rooms which was helpful. Master was huge and the bathrooms were clean. The kids loved the dart board and foosball table. Hot tub after the lake was so nice. But the best part was just chillin on the dock. Will definitely go back.

There was so much to love about the property. It was perfect for our family. The dock was in a cove and we enjoyed swimming, kayaking, fishing and paddle boarding. We rented a boat from the nearby marina and docked there to get all family members on board. It was nice to have lunch at a nearby waterside restaurant. We enjoyed the game room and other amenities in the house as well. The house had so many amenities that made it a comfortable space . We loved the game room.
