The house was wonderful; I loved how well the kitchen was stocked with appliances and dishes. I ended up making a full meal, which most don’t do on vacations…but I found everything I needed! The beds were very comfortable and the area outside was lovely.
Right on the lake with boat rentals across the finger. Loved watching boats come in and out and sun sets.
One of the nicest homes we have stayed in at the lake. Very clean and well taken care of. If making big meals be prepared to cook in batches as there not many pots and pans and only one smaller frying pan. Plenty of room on the dock and great fishing spot. We caught 7 catfish, a bass, and two white perch. Hot tub was clean and felt great after a day on the dock. Only drawback for us was not having day visitors. We go to SML every year and our friends who live nearby come and spend the day on the dock, but we were told even for day visits we could not exceed the 6 person max, so we were unable to spend time with our friends. I understand the rules, but still disappointed we couldn’t have day guests. Overall, great place to stay!!
House, for 6, nearly a week long stay, and no washing machine. It’s expected folks. That should be called out so guests are aware. No cheese grater. More gnats through broken screens on doors and windows, thousands we had to fight with. Hot tub turned green/brown after few uses . No hose, no fish cleaning area (house has 2 boat lifts and a dock).
We booked this location for our honeymoon (and had noted that in the online booking), looking for a quiet retreat after a year and a half of wedding planning. The biggest attraction was the lake front hot tub, but it was green and unusable. They sent someone to fix it but it never heated in time. Other issues: Ants in the kitchen, kitchen lacked many basics, fridge filter needed replacing, washer had been removed before arrival, electrical issues within home (full rooms couldn’t be used), shades were broken. With a cleaning fee of almost $400, this was unacceptable. All we expected was the bare minimum - a home listing as advertised - and instead it was a big disappointment.
House was clean and well stocked. Bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious. Everything was perfect!
