Jewelbox Cottage is described as a wonderfully designed, quaint, and cozy lakeside home that feels peaceful, private, and well suited for couples, small families, children, and dogs. Guests praised its comfortable interior, modern renovations, ample storage, nicely furnished spaces, well stocked kitchen, useful laundry room, and inviting showers. The cottage was repeatedly noted as very clean inside, with charming decor and a homey atmosphere. Its flat yard and gentle walk to the water make lake access especially easy, and the setting in a quiet cove with a sandy beach and dock was appreciated for safe and relaxing enjoyment of the lake. Guests also loved the beautiful lake views and memorable sunsets from the yard and dock. Amenities highlighted include board games, cornhole, ping pong, canoe, paddleboards, kayaks, fishing gear, fireplace, smart television, and strong wifi that reached down to the dock.

Looking for a waterfront cottage on a flat lot? This whimsical lakefront home is mere steps from the lake, with no steep hillside to trek down to the water.

The sand beach allows for children and adults to walk right in, play on the shore, and easily launch canoes and paddleboards. You'll love the private dock with a slide and jumping platform. Relax on the porch with rocking chairs to enjoy the sunset over the lake. Your magical outdoor dining area in a shaded lush garden includes a large table with plenty of seating and serving room on a cobblestone patio set under evening twinkle lights.

Ready for family fun, your three-bedroom, two-bath home has a large mudroom/laundry room and a firepit with ample Adirondack chairs overlooking the lake. Paddleboards and a three-person canoe await you, with adult life jackets. There's also a ping-pong table as well as fishing rods and supplies.

Inside, the sparkling full kitchen boasts stainless steel kitchen appliances, a long center island table, plus a dining table for your meals. Extras include a slow cooker, mixers, ample tableware and serving ware, and all the gadgets for easy meal prep.

The newly completely renovated bathrooms feature natural stone and river rock shower floors and rainfall shower heads. The great sectional sofa and lovely wooden beams complement the main living area with plenty of ceiling fans throughout.

The high-speed WiFi is wonderful here - the best on the lake and perfect for video streaming, work from home, and social media. Flick on the smart TV with a DVD player to stream all your favorite shows. This home is stocked with movies, books, and games for the whole family for hours of enjoyment and family fun.

Max occupancy is six people over the age of two years old (county and state law).

There is no use of the boat lift or slip. Bring your own boat fenders and life vests.

Location on the lake is the only thing but the “cottage” is not worth. I took actual pictures of bugs and insects and the rooms. Nothing like advertised. Stay away.

The home was located in a great area, all neighbors were friendly. There was no step hills to get to the dock, they had canoes, paddleboards, fishing poles all available for guests. The house amenities were great, all kitchen items available. The house was furnished nicely, plenty of seating. The bedrooms were nice, all bedding was provided. Towels and washrags as well. The shower was wonderful. The only complaint that I had was the toilet. Both toilets are placed so close between the wall and shower it makes it hard to wipe yourself if you want the honest truth 😁 The home was clean and vasaca sent messages all throughout the booking and stay making sure all was well!

The outside of the property is nothing but a trip/fall hazard. Huge hole leading onto dock, severe erosion, stones and bricks and 2x4’s randomly placed. Dock needs power washing it’s very slippery due to buildup. Outside wasn’t mowed and trash from previous visitors not collected. The management service never called regarding outdoor safety concerns. Inside is cute for a DIY but the table had paper folded under it to make it even, a post on the bed support is broken, the plywood bench is unstable and pinches when you sit on the edge. Wasn’t ideal for the expense. There were a few more things but…

We loved Jewlbox Cottage, it was in a great location right on the water on a nice flat yard which is hard to find at SML. Perfect size home for a couple or smaller family. Would definitely rent it again!
