The Lake House on Sunset Point

This is truly a beautiful home in a beautiful location. The house was remarkably clean, even for a pet friendly arrangement. The layout is incredibly spacious and comfortable - the pictures don’t do it justice! They provide quite literally everything you need minus groceries - it was very convenient. We loved our evenings on the deck and down on the dock. The water level was very low during our visit, but not at this house! The cove is DEEP. Perfect for swimming. I also cannot get over the stargazing! A+ I would recommend this place to anyone and can’t wait for our return!

The house was better than advertised! We have arrived at other rentals where the experience was, “Well, they met their contractual obligations.” That was NOT the case with ‘The Lake House on Sunset Point”. Most notably in the kitchen, there was a fully stocked spice rack, olive oil, vegetable oil, foil, etc. We didn’t feel like our vacation was dependent upon our having to remember every little detail, but that the homeowners had our backs in case we forgot something. Those small details provided an experience of ‘Feeling welcomed’, even though we never met. My wife and I, along with 2 dogs took walks, watched movies, fed fish off the dock, caught some sun on the dock, watched some games, read, and napped, etc. We just enjoyed getting away and ‘The Lake House on, Sunset Point’ was a wonderful place to do just that.

A beautiful, clean home with lots of amenities! Lots of kitchen utensils and cooking gadgets available. Large fridge and freezer. Downstairs suite is great for families with kids to share, and the game room was a huge hit! We will definitely consider renting again for our next SML trip.

What a lovely home. We enjoyed the beautiful views from the great room. We spent time kayaking, lounging by and in the lake and grilling on the large deck.

My family had a nice four-day stay at this home. There are a lot of things we really love about this house, and there were a couple of things that we wish had been different. Overall, we weighed the pros and cons and decided to book again. This was our list of considerations. Pros: Very clean Great communal living spaces Nice deck Good laundry space and kitchen area Really fun game room Cons: Extremely bright interior lighting with no dimmers Loud master bedroom floor (floating engineered wood that woke up light sleepers) No tv in the double twin room Very scratchy rental sheets

Overall, the house had everything you needed for a vacation. Just hot downstairs in the basement where two bedrooms are located.
