Front Unit: This 2-bedroom/2-bathroom home is a perfect place to get away. The bedrooms are accented by gorgeous heart-pine floors and illuminated by large windows. Bedroom one has a queen bed, and bedroom two has two full beds and a trundle bed (twin with twin pullout underneath). Enjoy a movie or sporting event in the living room. The couches center around a unique fireplace that no longer works, but it adds to the historic character of this great home! Cook up any meal in the fully stocked kitchen and enjoy outside on the rocking chairs and porch swing! Back Unit: This is the back unit of a duplex; 2 bedrooms/1.5 bathrooms home sleeps 7 and is a perfect place to get away. The beautiful heart-pine floors have been refinished, the windows let in tons of light, and the beds are super comfy. The fireplaces no longer work, but they add to the historic character of this great home! Enjoy cooking in the fully stocked kitchen and gathering around the TV in the living room.

You will have access of the full property, including two full service kitchens, 3.5 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms, the front porch, a fire pit in the back, and grill. It is like your home away from home!

Many of these homes are also owned by military and veteran families, which makes hosting guests visiting the area especially meaningful to us. With that charm comes a few natural quirks, such as creaky floors, older windows that may allow slight temperature variation, and original plumbing systems that require a bit of care. We’ve taken great care to ensure the home is clean, comfortable, and fully guest-ready—while preserving the character that makes it special. If you’re looking for a brand-new home, this may not be the best fit, but if you appreciate charm and a unique stay, you’ll feel right at home. If you notify us of your intent to cancel prior to the lapse of the free cancellation period, we will return 97% of your payment. The other 3% will already have been collected by the credit card processing company, and we have no way to return that portion of the payment. We sometimes rent out both the back and front separately, but this reserves the entire property. We are a pet friendly home. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.
