We refused to stay in this antiquated unit with funny smell, kitchen door under the sink ready to fall off, floor tiles chipping or already to separate. Rooms were tiny and reminded me of a 1970's apartment. Definitely not up to Key West Standards. At least Vacasa handled this well with Marriott and refunded me quickly.

We did not love anything about this rental. We were assigned this rental in a "bait and switch" We had to take taxis to get anywhere on the island. We had rented a property in town, walking distance to tourist attractions and restaurants. This property is old, in disrepair and next to the airport. I would not ever recommend using Vacasa to anyone.

If you plan on staying in New Town, and don't want anything fancy, this could be a place for you. There's lots of updates/repairs needed in this unit; the outdoor pool was nice though! If you plan on taking an Uber/Lyft to Old Town from this location, it's about a $40 round trip (a 4-mile ride one way). You don't want to drive in Old Town because there's no parking. Location was good.Hot tub was great.(Odd that you needed a code to get out of pool area)Carts were great for moving our belongings.More towels in 2nd bedroom ( there were no pool towels for that room) Both bathrooms could use more hooks to hang things up .Close enough to walk to Hampton inn and catch the Hop on hop off shuttle.There needs to be some attention to the countertop in kitchen and flooring being broken should be fixed.Some paint in different areas would be helpful too.All in all an ok place.
