Prepare for true canal-front living at this home! Casual in nature and comfortable in every room, this home is ready with central air conditioning and enough seating for everyone. Cards and chips for late-night poker games are included for impromptu games, as well as a telescope for looking out at the sky over the ocean. Store the boat at the dock and kick back on the lounge chairs on the patio! There are multiple balconies to enjoy, too - just step out from the living room or main bedroom. Each bedroom upstairs includes a full en suite bathroom, and the main bedroom includes both a glass-enclosed standalone shower and a luxurious soaking tub. But no wonder which room you pick, there'll be a ceiling fan set up to cool your sleep. Fall asleep after gazing out at the ocean, and dream of the fish you'll cook up on the electric grill. What's nearby: You'll be all set up with ocean access at this home, via the canal. But if you'd rather not do the sailing, Caribbean Watersports & Enviro-Tours provides cruises and more watersports fun just under two miles away. Landlubbers will love cruising along the scenic Overseas Highway. Enjoy fresh seafood (as well as key lime pie) at Sal's Ballyhoo's just under two miles from the home. The home was beautiful. The master bed was very comfortable and, I really enjoyed the tub in the master bedroom. For the most part the home was sufficiently stocked with necessities. Although, it could use a new can opener. I ended up having to buy one. Having the elevator to bring in luggage and groceries was definitely a plus. I enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and the proximity to stores etc. There were kayaks and fishing rods to use along with a nice size selection of life jackets. It was very relaxing to sit on the balconies, I enjoyed watching the sea turtles swimming in the canal and even saw a manatee on a couple of occasions. Overall, my stay was wonderful and I would stay there again. Just not the easiest management company to deal with.

Beautiful property with great sunrise views of the ocean. Kitchen was perfect for cooking and entertaining. Wifi was fast and reliable enough to keep us all streaming. We'd definitely go back for a quick weekend in the Keys. Great rain shower and bathtub in the master bath. Kids had their own bathroom in the other bedroom.

We loved loved loved our stay at the Humpty Dumpty Hacienda. The home was PERFECT for all of our little family's needs. It comes fully stocked with everything (ice maker, washer/dryer, video games, etc.) and is so cozy and warm. It is located right on the ocean with beautiful views to enjoy from the decks and easy access by boat or kayak (the paddle crafts were included!). The bedrooms are bright and spacious and there is even one that is separate from the house so if you stayed with friends there is total privacy if desired. The location is EPIC- close to several great beaches both ocean and bayside as well as a kids water park and great restaurants to dine in. The hosts were so kind and checked in on us to make sure our stay was a memorable one! Thank you for having us -- we can't wait to return again and again!
