Sombrero Sands

Overall we loved the house. Was expecting it to sleep 8 as it listed but it only slept 6. We were under the impression that there would be a trundle bed under one of the beds

The location was fantastic

The rental did meet our expectations of having a pool and large dock with room to park a boat trailer. Unfortunately, our stay at this property did not meet expectations. The house is in need of significant attention and upkeep. Carpets throughout were stained, and the bedding and towels were also visibly stained, which was very off-putting. The bathroom had cracked tiles, and some of the outdoor furniture was ripped and unusable. There were no thoughtful or welcoming touches—no basics like salt and pepper in the kitchen, trash bags, laundry soap, or even a guidebook, which made it feel more like a neglected rental than a comfortable vacation home. With a little care and maintenance, this place could be much better, but as it stands, it doesn't offer good value for the price. Would not recommend until improvements are made.

We love staying at this property. This is our 2nd year and are looking forward to a 3rd stay next year. It is a beautiful property, the yard, location and home.

The house was great. Perfect location. Huge dock space. Only complaint is minor they just need to add a bait freezer outside. That is a small thing in the grand picture.

The home was very clean with a good layout. The screened porch with table and chairs was perfect for sunset dinners. The house was a perfect location for family activities that included Sombrero Beach, Dolphin Research Center, Sea Turtle Hospital, and Aquarium Encounters. Grocery stores were also just down the road. I would definitely stay here again!
