Located on Marathon's quiet, Boot Key, you'll be within walking distance of popular Sombrero Beach and enjoy ocean views from home with direct canal access via a private dock. Sombrero Beach is Beautiful

We stay in Marathon at least 2-3 weeks each Feb- May and have for the last 5 years. The house we typically rent was booked so we found this one, which we thought would be less expensive but with the vacasa fees it was actually more than our 5 star rental. This house had no pot holders which caused me to burn 3 fingers; pet entrance on front and only door had styrofoam & duck tape which the wind blew off several times; keypad did not work so we called 800# and they told us where keys were; kitchen layout & appliances were top notch! Pool & exterior needs pressure washing; makeshift fence and kayaks need replacing(seats broken). My first and last rental through vacasa, as they do not resolve issues and do not upkeep these rentals for owners. The service fee is insane!!!

House was very nice but had a couple maintenance issues, some addressed and fixed and one was never fixed due to ongoing difficulties with Vacasa maintenance and customer service process. Multiple guests tried shower and none of us could get it to work. We had to share shower in other bathroom. Unacceptable for price we paid for house

We had a wonderful time at Pirate’s Booty this December. The home is beautiful, clean, and updated. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and outdoor grill. Being right on the canal next to Sombero Beach was a definite plus and made for great views of the sunset. We also found the location convenient to restaurants, shops, and the Publix nearby.
