Beautiful property, but tricky to get to.
We loved this house. Our stay was amazing! It is high in the hills of Angel Fire. We enjoyed the gorgeous view every day! The den is large with a giant TV. There is a large table for family gatherings. The kitchen has everything you need. On the same level is the master suite. I liked the canopy bed. It was so comfortable! The room has a porch to outside. We liked the large closet. The master bath has a giant whirlpool bath and great shower! The kids loved the downstairs! Two bedrooms, ping pong and a fabulous movie room! There are two fireplaces, wrap around porches and many games! We had movie night every night! I highly recommend this amazing house. Be aware: 4 wheel drive is a must, it was so cold upon entering. Get the heaters and fireplaces going. No TV in the master bedroom. (husband's concern). I hope we can return!! Laura
The view is amazing the beds are the best beds I have ever slept on over all one of the nicest places I’ve stayed!!
Spacious, beautiful home with an incredible view. Met all of our needs. The media room was awesome.
Buyer beware. You don’t always get what you pay for. The place appeared nice upon arrival, but we quickly realized it was not as promised. #1 reason for booking the chalet was because of the theater system. It did not work the entire time of our trip. Within a couple of hours after arriving, I called for support on the theater system. I stayed on hold for over 2 hours. UNACCEPTABLE. The text messaging function for support did not work either. Maintenance eventually came out but could not resolve the issue. The #2 reason we booked the chalet was it was advertised to have 3.5 bathrooms which would be very beneficial with the number of girls we had in our group. The unit only has 2.5 bathrooms. ANOTHER AREA WHERE WE DID NOT GET WHAT WE PAID FOR. The lighting in one of the bedrooms did not work properly until maintenance was able to come out. The microwave did not work. We were unable to cook our microwave popcorn the very first night and had very little to eat after arriving the first day since we were unable to get my car safely out due to the snowfall. The microwave was eventually replaced when maintenance came out. I had been told by a rep that a 4x4 was required during the winter months to access the property but my vehicle should be ok since we were coming in the spring. This was not the case. We were snowed in the first day and had to leave a day early for fear of getting snowed on the last day. The entrance/driveway to the chalet was very steep and was not plowed making it near impossible for my Expedition to handle it. There was only one tv in the place in the main living area. There was no proper remote for it. There was no tv channels or streaming services available. This was also reported to maintenance/customer service but was never resolved during our entire stay. UNACCEPTABLE Customer support reached out saying a refund would be issued due to all the inconveniences we experienced during our stay. It has been over 2 full weeks since our departure & no refund has been issued. “It is still being reviewed for approval.” Was I given a false promise? I will try to update this review if ever receive the promised refund.
