Great water pressure in shower. Water got hot fast. Good location.
We chose the Outdoor Hideout for convenience, affordability, and style. No, this condo is not updated and modern it is cozy, has all the feels of a cabin with a wood burning fireplace, and tons of fun decor. Every time I turned around I found a new fish, bear or moose. The kids loved it!! Starting off the with a big breakfast and after a long day on the slopes we cooked our own meals. We brought our food and the kitchen had all we needed to cook up some more memories. Our kids loved the bunk beds and our bed was comfy too. Loved that there were 2 bathrooms, and of course the kids enjoyed the jet tub in the master bathroom too! Bonus of the washer & dryer, I packed clean cloths for the trip home :) We brought our own games, but there were cards and multiple board games available too. Overall we loved it and would definitely stay again, if you want fancy, bright and boring this isn’t for you, but if you want a condo with character & charm….. this is it.
The location was great. Noisy neighbors above us. Well stocked kitchen, but everything was dirty and had to be washed before using (wet grease, soft food, hard food on pots, pans, silverware, plates, coffee cups, etc.). At bedtime the first night (11pm) found the master bed had at lease twenty hairs on the pillows, in between the sheets, at the head and foot of the bed. Horrible. What could we do at that point? I let Vacasa know about it... and they apologized. Nothing more... Both queen beds sagged horrendously to the middle. Blankets and who knows what had been placed in the middle, between the two mattresses (that's right, one on top of the other) to "help" the hole that we rolled into. Water pressure was good though... 😑
The water smelled so bad when running the water in the showers it was unbearable. Left a stink on the body and left a stink in the condo throughout. Was terrible. The bed in the room with multiple beds sheets stunk like someone had already slept in them. Neighbors above so loud until 3 am. Floors have no insulation so it was loud. The disposal did not work
Wi-Fi didn’t work and we reached out to Vacasa customer service multiple times over the course of our 4 day stay and their response was that they could not reach the property manager during that entire time. Wouldn’t have been a big deal, but our phones had poor reception and needed Wi-Fi for messaging our kids. Also no TV without Wi-Fi- which would have been nice after a long day on the slopes. The lack of customer service was so frustrating and I would not recommend Vacasa. Also, the lock on the door is a 10 digit code that didn’t work half the time because the doorknob is loose. Jacuzzi in master bath, but not enough hot water in the hot water tank to even fill it to get the jets working.
