Angel Fire Chalet 51 was described as a great fit for small groups and families, offering a cozy, comfortable stay with plenty of space. Guests appreciated the clean, cute interior, the big bathroom, and the well-equipped kitchen, along with extra blankets that added to the comfort. The chalet was praised for its excellent location within walking distance of the slopes and ski resort, making it easy to come and go without driving. Guests also enjoyed the great views and beautiful scenery surrounding the property. A washer and dryer, a working fireplace, and easy access for skiing and hiking added to the overall appeal.

Monte Verde Lake is just three miles away, where you can spend summer days kayaking, testing your fishing skills, stand-up paddleboarding, or sitting back to enjoy the wildlife and scenery. The Lady Slipper trail is perfect for family hiking and biking. There are lots of other great activities nearby such as golf, disc golfing, ziplining, tennis, and scenic lift rides.
