Enjoy stargazing from the hot tub of this brand-new 3BR/2BA Taos home, affectionately called Casa Cielo. This home offers a secluded location that lets you enjoy privacy, hiking, and incredible mountain and desert views. Soak up the vistas while grilling dinner on your sunny covered back patio.

Gorgeous custom features and traditional design are found throughout this 2,500 square foot upscale property with amazing mountain views, including a kiva fireplace and traditional viga ceilings. The chef in your group will love the gourmet kitchen.

This home also features the work of local artists. Of particular note are the breathtaking and beautiful photographs of architecture, people, and landscapes in and around Taos.

LIVING AREA

This inviting space boasts old Taos charm, a gorgeous kiva fireplace, large windows, and handsome viga ceilings. A pair of plush armchairs, a love seat, and a queen sleeper sofa sit before a 36” TV.

KITCHEN & DINING

The gourmet kitchen impresses with ample granite counter space and a full suite of stainless steel appliances. Highlights include a gas range, a double oven, and French-door fridge.

Enjoy incredible views of the desert while sharing meals at the nine-seat dining table.

BEDROOMS & BATHS

This home sleeps up to eight guests between the three bedrooms and a queen sleeper sofa.

The spacious master bedroom boasts a king bed, walk-in closet, flat-screen TV, and access to a sun-drenched patio. An en-suite offers a double vanity and walk-in shower.

Both the second and third bedroom each have a comfy queen bed. A guest bath has a double vanity and tub/shower combination.

OUTDOOR AREAS

A stunning new Ramada overlooks the rolling landscape where you can sizzle dinner on the gas grill, enjoy drinks at sunset, then sink into your private hot tub and enjoy an amazing view of the stars.

Complimentary Wi-Fi, cable TV, a washer/dryer, radiant floor heating, and driveway parking for five cars are provided.

RV parking is allowed outside of the driveway, but please note there is no RV hookup.

This rental does not have air-conditioning. Ceiling fans and traditional adobe walls create a cool indoor climate in the summer.

THE LOCATION

Your Taos getaway offers a quiet setting out of town, giving you a wonderful sense of privacy and plenty of hiking trails to explore. Yet despite the secluded setting, you’re 11 miles from Taos Plaza and 12 miles from the ski area. Located in the center of Taos, this historic plaza is home to galleries, boutiques, and popular local eateries.

Drive 20 minutes to visit the historic adobe settlement of Taos Pueblo. Also within a 20-minute drive, the 900’-deep Rio Grande Gorge is worth a visit for epic views of the canyon and river below. Picnic areas surrounding the gorge offer a perfect spot for lunch. The luxurious Ojo Caliente spa is less than an hours’ drive away.

Casa Cielo was perfect for our family of six! The house was spacious and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could ever need. The hot tub was relaxing and we could see so many stars at night. The location was great. In between the city of Taos and the Taos Ski Valley. The property is large and the kids enjoyed playing outside. The views of mountains all around were beautiful. The house had a good selection of board games and we enjoyed playing them at the large kitchen table. The beds were very comfortable.

Great for ski vacations or just to get away from hustle and bustle. Perfect layout for a family trip, gorgeous scenery and awesome grill area. Sitting in hot tub looking at snow capped peaks, in shade of the Juniper Pinons, need I say more?!

This was our second stay at Casa Cielo and it was even better than we remembered! The location is convenient to skiing but allows for a relaxing apres experience. The home is beautifully decorated and maintained with all amenities you’d want. We had a minor issue when we arrived but it was quickly resolved with efficient communication, greatly appreciated! We highly recommend and will be back again!

The house itself has a wonderful layout. High quality construction in a warm and inviting home. The views of the mountains and seeing wildlife made it feel like we were in a private sanctuary. Warmth, wilderness and welcoming. Three words to describe the deeply relaxing and peaceful experience at Casa Cielo. The resident deer visited us every morning and evening. The full moon provided the perfect spotlight for a night under the stars while soaking in the hot tub.

This house is comfortable, beautiful, and situated in a gorgeous location. We have family in Taos, and it was the ideal place for us to stay while visiting them. We were close enough for easy get-togethers, and even hosted dinners a couple of times. We will definitely rent again !
