Convenience proximity to the base was amazing. The home was clean. It was warm. It was hard to find it first, but we figured it out
Location was great, parking was great, lots of room in the condo.
Spacious and cozy place for ski vacation! Loved the new gas stove
The master bed mattress was extremely hard and firm. There were lots of crumbs and some trash under the couch cushions. The lockbox code we were given was wrong, and it took some effort to figure that out. One of the lockboxes appeared to be broken and was lying on the ground and we had to be given an alternate code. The location is great as is the size of the place. The kitchen is nice and updated. It was odd that there was a Christmas tree up in the middle of February.
It's a very good location for slope access with a lot of space, but... Here are the issues: * When we arrived the code provided by Vacasa did not work. When we finally reached Vacasa they told us to reverse the input which worked, but that was not a pleasant start since it was dark and cold when we arrived. * The unit was not in great shape regarding cleanliness or maintenance. There was no hand soap in the master bathroom, and no bar or liquid soap in either shower. Generally the place was dirty. The bathroom floors had not been cleaned, and were covered with hair and soap scum. The large bathroom mirror is not securely attached to the wall. Several light bulbs were out, but we found spares and changed them ourselves. The lock on the guest bedroom was faulty trapping the occupant - we eventually freed the lock and had to leave the door open during our stay. There were no instructions on lighting the gas fireplace, and the lower front panel was removed - probably from a previous tenant trying to figure it out. We did get it to work after significant trial and error. (By the way, the old wood burning firebox is abandoned on the balcony.) Two of the dining table chairs were broken. We called about all of this, and the Vacasa agent said she was "taking notes". We heard nothing back from Vacasa, and since our stay was only two nights, there wasn't an opportunity to follow up further with guest services.
