Overview
Find peace, privacy, and the ultimate natural setting among coastal evergreens at this dramatic Sea Ranch home. Designed by a renowned architect in the classic Sea Ranch style, this home makes the perfect retreat for a family or a group seeking wonder on the Northern California Coast. This home is located just up the hillside from Shoreline Highway, where it's nestled in a private grove of trees with a view of the ocean below. Follow the well-maintained path down to Black Point Beach, Pebble Beach, and the breathtaking oceanfront Bluff Trail. The closest of Sea Ranch's three recreation centers - Moonraker, with a heated outdoor pool, saunas, and tennis/pickleball courts - is two miles south. The Sea Ranch Chapel (four miles), the Sea Ranch Golf Links (seven miles), and the conveniences of artsy, small-town Gualala (eight miles) are within an easy, scenic drive as well. Step inside to be greeted by the innovative and inviting elements of design that made this seaside community such a special place. All around you, enjoy warm wood floors, exposed ceiling beams, and interior bridges crossing the incredible, three-story great room. From the great room, you can connect to covered porches and tree-lined outdoor sitting areas on three sides of the house. These include a sheltered patio for afternoon barbecues, an open terrace with a picnic table, and a lower terrace for taking in the nightly sunsets. There's even a private hot tub for some of the best stargazing you've ever experienced. The same beauty awaits back indoors, whether you're playing board games by the wood-burning fireplace or curling up with a good book in the window seat overlooking the ocean. You'll also have an open kitchen and a dining room table with seating for everyone. Two areas are set up with desks for remote work: one on the second floor bridge and one in the first floor bedroom. The four bedrooms are split between the three floors - one on the main level, one on the second level, and two on the third level. Two sky-lit bathrooms can be found on the first and second floors. December through April is whale season. You may spot gray whales breaching right from the bluff trail nearby. Wildflower season (April-June) transforms the coastal bluffs into a tapestry of color -- worth an extra walk on the trails. Summer offers long days and warm afternoons, though the iconic Sonoma Coast fog often rolls in at sunrise and clears by noon. Cell service can be spotty along the coast. The home has WiFi for staying connected.

Really enjoyed this, great layout with wonderful outdoor spaces as well.
Would recommend.
I spent my birthday weekend at this Sea Ranch home and had an amazing experience. The house is incredible, designed by a talented local architect, and has a unique character that makes it perfect for gathering with friends and family. It’s spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out. Each morning we woke up to deer grazing nearby, the sound of the ocean in the distance, and that calm Sea Ranch atmosphere you can’t find anywhere else. At night the sky gets dark enough to see the Milky Way, which made the whole trip feel magical. The best parts for us were the hot tub overlooking the trees, the fireplace, the multiple bedrooms and cozy beds for guests, the dining table that made gatherings fun and easy, and all the little sitting nooks around the house where people could relax or read. The home makes it effortless to celebrate, unwind, and be together. We had a wonderful stay and will be back.
Spectacular views, lots of space to spread out for a large group, very peaceful street in a great location for exploring The Sea Ranch.
Great location, can see the water but closer to the woods which we love. Deer wandering around. Big house with lots of space. Worked well for our group. Not artful like some other sea ranch houses but nice space for group or family gatherings!
The well stocked kitchen, cozy beds, amazing views-one of our favorite sea ranch homes 3 floors- many stairs but the views are worth it !
