Nice location, great view of the ocean. Conversation pit around the fireplace was great for a cold rainy autumn evening.
We had an incredible stay at Touch the Tides. The views of the ocean are incredible and we watched some lovely sunsets from the back porch. The house had everything we needed for a fun family vacation (our kids especially loved the foosball table!) and we had a fantastic time exploring the nearby beaches. We can't wait to come again!
This is such a comfortable, livable home with an amazing ocean view. When we weren’t out hiking the Sea Ranch trails, we were sipping coffee or wine in the cozy conversation pit where we played games or watched deer munch on the grass. The perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature. We’ll be back!
Loved the view and location. Nice for one couple since only one bathroom.
The real estate sites say this house was built in 1974 and anyone who was around at the time will recognize some of its features. These include the sunken conversation area in the living room, the shag carpeting and even a copy of the self-help book "I'm OK You're OK" on the shelf. The house is in good shape however and the kitchen appears to have been modernized. The house maximizes its best feature, which is the unobstructed view of waves crashing on rocks, the ocean beyond and the sunset. The ocean facing wall in the living room is three large panes of glass, with no fireplace or flat screen TV to obstruct. The window over the sink in the kitchen has the same view, as does the main bedroom. Although the house has a relatively small floorplan, the high ceilings and abundant natural light make it seem bigger. With one queen sized bed, two twin beds and one bathroom, this house will work for a couple or a couple with 1-2 children.
