This place is absolutely gorgeous. We rented it as a family of 3 and probably didn't need all that space, but the price was so reasonable that we couldn't resist. The lack of central heating did make 2 of the bedrooms a bit cold, but we were mostly very comfortable, and the bedding is plenty warm. The decor here is SO cute, and the view of the sea through the trees is breathtaking. We loved the proximity to everything. Taking a hot bath while looking out at the redwoods is a sublime experience. I usually like to book a place with a hot tub but here there was no need. We had our 2 year old daughter with us and everything was super safe for her. I was so bummed to find that I had forgotten her bedtime books, but I was able to find a couple that we could use in the ample book supply, which was such a pleasant surprise. There is a brand new coffee maker and filters but no coffee- I think a previous reviewer mentioned pods and that is no longer the case just FYI. Upon settling in we immediately brainstormed when we could return, so we will definitely be going back one day!

Nice, quiet location with a short walk uphill to a completely forested trail. Drive down to the Moonraker center and a 10 minute walk through the trees the beach. Beauty all around. Great view of the ocean from the house considering it’s on the east side of the highway. The house has everything needed and is actually quite spacious. Would love to rent again for a longer stay.

Loved our stay here! Loved it so much we extended our stay. Loved the open floor plan and layout of the house. The decor was updated with small things like a nice couch and bed frames and light fixtures. Love a more modern looking inside home vs 1980’s look. It had a fenced in yard for the dog which was nice. View from the bath tub was amazing. Great location getting to be nestled in the forest yet a mile from the beach. The property management company was super super helpful too. Loved our stay and will be back!

We just loved the space, layout and location, very comfortable! The walks in the forest around the house were stunning. Great house with a dog. Kitchen can use minor attention, otherwise great place!
