December through April is whale season. You may spot gray whales breaching right from the bluff trail nearby. Wildflower season (April-June) transforms the coastal bluffs into a tapestry of color -- worth an extra walk on the trails. Summer offers long days and warm afternoons, though the iconic Sonoma Coast fog often rolls in at sunrise and clears by noon. Up to 2 dogs are welcome. Please keep dogs on leash on trails and clean up after them. Cell service can be spotty along the coast. The home has WiFi for staying connected.
