Follow California Highway 1 north for 21 miles to reach the Point Arena Lighthouse and Museum, the gorgeous structure that guards the Point Arena-Stornetta unit of the California Coastal National Monument. Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport (STS) in Santa Rosa is the nearest airport, about 1.5 hours east. A car is essential for exploring the area.
