Easy access to the ocean, a great view of a meadow and sea background with deer coming up to the house. Cozy wood stove.
Views were amazing, well stocked kitchen and very easy to follow instructions for the wood burning stove. The cooktop was a little finicky to keep lit but we were able to cook some meals with minimal fuss. Great location 5min from Gualala for groceries. We saw some deer, sat on the porch to watch the sunset. Very peaceful and lovely. We’d recommend staying here
Perfect sunset views.
It’s a nice property but it could use some updates and attention to details.
The house was a little dated, but important things such as the kitchen, more than fully equipped, the shower, and most importantly the nice view of the sea were excellent. I would stay there again.
Lovely week with grandparents, parents and teenagers. Kids loved the window seats. Great puzzles and games included. Comfortable beds and pillow choices. Wood-burning stove was plenty warm, though I wasn't the one who keep the fire burning. Did not even use the space heaters in the bedrooms. Kitchen was fabulous with tons of amenities - plastic wrap, big bowls, coffee filters, spices, etc. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash was a lovely scent, and hand soap in each bathroom was a nice touch. Plenty of laundry pods provided. Location was nice to be so close to Gualala, but we drove to beaches, which was new for us. Shell Beach was about 2.5 mile walk. Played pickleball at Del Mar Rec Center - be sure to make reservations - and they had a racket set for us to borrow. Impressed how clean the huge windows were especially with the rain and fog! Plenty of hot water for all of us, good shower pressure, and nightlights available, which is super helpful. The 6 of us would definitely stay here again.
