Star view from the hot tub was fantastic!!!
We were there, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. It was nice. It was raining, but it was lovely being out in the hot tub on the deck looking up at the tall redwoods and the rain coming down. I like the vaulted ceilings with the windows. It felt very open and it felt like you really were in the forest. The couch was really comfy and the kitchen. Everything worked well I’d still put in a Keurig coffee maker and upgrade the dishes oh and will you pull the freezer drawer out? The whole refrigerator kinda comes out too, and the shelves were kind of wonky inside the fridge. Nice quiet neighborhood close to everything we Tour the point, Arena lighthouse and hike down to bowling ball beach during low tide. That was very cool. I liked it a lot. Happy new year.
My husband and I took our daughter, and three of her friends to stay at this home for a birthday weekend by the beach. It was a great place to stay on budget. My husband and I are certified old-people and were able to get our naps and early bed times in by having the downstairs bedroom to ourselves, while the teenagers played the video games into the late night. The main living area has a ridiculously comfortable sofa, which also allowed for us geezers to get a bit of eye rest on. The water pressure was good, the kitchen had the basics tools required for cooking, and the neighborhood was quaint and quiet. You can access the beach easily from the home as well. Overall, good stay, would recommend for a quiet, doesn’t break the wallet, vacation by the ocean.
I liked the location and the small home feeling.
Reasonably priced, good location close to Sea Ranch, Bodega Bay, Mendocino, and plenty of beautiful beaches. Home is on the older side, but OK if you're spending most of the day exploring and need a home base.
