We loved our weekend stay in the Redwood house! The gas fireplace and hot tub worked perfectly, all other amenities were great and the view of the ocean was lovely. As noted by other reviewers, WiFi was spotty and struggled to stream television at times, but we were also there during a heavy rainstorm, so that could have made it worse. Overall we loved our stay and would absolutely return!
I spent the weekend tucked away in this beautiful Gualala cabin, surrounded by towering redwoods and complete serenity. It was the perfect escape to unwind and recover from burnout — peaceful, quiet, and just the right amount of isolation to truly reset. The air feels cleaner up here, every breath grounding you deeper into the moment. The views are absolutely spectacular, especially from the deck. Evenings spent in the hot tub under the trees and by the cozy fireplace made it hard to leave. A quick tip for anyone driving an EV — there are no chargers along the coastal stretch, so plan ahead and arrive with enough range to drive about an hour and a half inland for a top-up if needed. Highly recommend this cabin for anyone seeking nature, stillness, and genuine restoration.
The location is a delight, the hot tub wonderful and very private. Good accommodations but needing some updates.
We only stayed for a couple of days, but what a beautiful, peaceful and serene place to do it! If you need to de-stress, there couldn't be a better place to do it! Loved the Redwood House!! Steve and Bina
We loved our stay at The Redwood House--it feels as if you are living in the redwoods in a secluded treehouse, it's lovely! The house was cozy and comfortable for our girls retreat, we enjoyed lounging by the warm fireplace, soaking in the hot tub, and listening to the rain from the upstairs bedrooms. We cooked most all our meals in the kitchen (which could use a few more amenities) or on the grill on the deck, which provided gorgeous views of the trees and ocean. We got take-out one night from the Thai place 3 min down the road in Anchor Bay--delicious! Amazing quiet and private location for a small group of 2-4 people, perfect for a relaxing retreat with the deck, fireplace, and hot tub and yet very close to Gualala, Anchor Bay, Sea Ranch, Point Arena for exploring! We enjoyed every minute, thank you Redwood House and Vacasa for such a soul-nourishing stay.
