We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at the Redwood House. The cabin is lovely. The view is amazing (we even saw whales!), the location among the redwoods is ideal, and we will definitely be back.
Beautiful home in the coastal redwoods. Quiet and relaxing.
We loved our weekend stay in the Redwood house! The gas fireplace and hot tub worked perfectly, all other amenities were great and the view of the ocean was lovely. As noted by other reviewers, WiFi was spotty and struggled to stream television at times, but we were also there during a heavy rainstorm, so that could have made it worse. Overall we loved our stay and would absolutely return!
I spent the weekend tucked away in this beautiful Gualala cabin, surrounded by towering redwoods and complete serenity. It was the perfect escape to unwind and recover from burnout — peaceful, quiet, and just the right amount of isolation to truly reset. The air feels cleaner up here, every breath grounding you deeper into the moment. The views are absolutely spectacular, especially from the deck. Evenings spent in the hot tub under the trees and by the cozy fireplace made it hard to leave. A quick tip for anyone driving an EV — there are no chargers along the coastal stretch, so plan ahead and arrive with enough range to drive about an hour and a half inland for a top-up if needed. Highly recommend this cabin for anyone seeking nature, stillness, and genuine restoration.
The location is a delight, the hot tub wonderful and very private. Good accommodations but needing some updates.
We only stayed for a couple of days, but what a beautiful, peaceful and serene place to do it! If you need to de-stress, there couldn't be a better place to do it! Loved the Redwood House!! Steve and Bina
