Every room has beautiful views of the Pacific! Yes, the bathrooms are dated and some drawers need fixed, but they are perfectly serviceable and did not keep us from enjoying your stay. The deck is very private with no other homes close enough to be concerning. The house next door is also a rental, but it is ridiculously expensive and trees cover the property line. It was not rented for the next 2 months after our stay. Watching the birds was great. One friendly Seagull stopped by every day. Probably not good to feed them. I received a text message about Raccoons but did not see any evidence of them. The kitchen was stocked with utensils. It had salt, pepper, oil, coffee and tea. Gualala has a couple of good grocery stores if you need anything, it’s a 2 minute drive. I did see a few ants so don’t leave anything out. When you turn on the master bathroom shower, turn the knob to the left (counterclockwise). If you turn it to the right, the 3 wall jets will spray you, the floor, the mirror, the cabinet, the wall. There was no firewood or kindling but if you want a fire just run into town. JR’s Home & Auto and Gualala Supermarket has it. We didn’t try all the restaurants in town but didn’t have great luck. When you see St. Orres hit the brakes and start looking for the driveway. The closest EV charger is the new ones in Bodega Bay. We charged while we had lunch. Our stay was very relaxing, private and comfortable. The deck was sunny, but we just moved inside and enjoyed the views from the couch. Great place. We are already planning our next stay.
