Step inside and settle in -- every room and amenity in this home is yours for your stay. Driveway parking is available at the property. Detailed check-in instructions, including the door code, will be provided prior to your arrival. As a guest, you also have access to Sea Ranch community amenities including the pools, tennis courts, fitness center, and miles of trails. A recreation pass will be provided.

The Sea Ranch is a one-of-a-kind coastal community on the Sonoma Coast, where miles of trails wind through meadows, forests, and along ocean bluffs. Nearby highlights include community heated pool (North) (9-minute walk), Shell Beach tidepools (7-minute drive), The Sea Ranch Lodge restaurant, lounge and café (7-minute drive). Explore over Sea Ranch's 50 miles of trails, discover tidepools at low tide, swim in heated community pools, and end the day with dinner at The Sea Ranch Lodge. Gualala is a quick 10-minute walk south for groceries, dining, and fuel. For a scenic outing, Jenner and Bodega Bay are further down Highway 1.

Plan for a 2.5-hour drive from San Francisco (Highway 101 to Highway 1). If flying, Santa Rosa's Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport (STS) is the closest option at about 90 minutes east. You'll want a car here -- the winding coastal roads are half the adventure.

Fireplace is not available for guest use. Garage is off access and not available for guest use. 2 cars can fit in the driveway Sea Ranch has three recreation centers with heated pools, saunas, and tennis courts. Access passes are provided with your stay -- check availability upon arrival as these shared amenities can be popular during peak times. Exterior lighting is minimal by design to preserve the stunning dark sky -- bring a flashlight for evening walks and enjoy some of the best stargazing on the California coast. December through April is whale season. You may spot gray whales breaching right from the bluff trail nearby. Wildflower season (April-June) transforms the coastal bluffs into a tapestry of color -- worth an extra walk on the trails. Summer offers long days and warm afternoons, though the iconic Sonoma Coast fog often rolls in at sunrise and clears by noon. Cell service can be spotty along the coast. The home has WiFi for staying connected.

We couldn’t have asked for a better Sea Ranch retreat to smooth away the rough edges of a hectic work week. White Waters offers every comfort and convenience and is beautifully situated facing the ocean. From the deck, we spotted gray whale pods, and along the nearby coastal trail, it felt as though we could have filmed our own wildlife program. Around every bend brought a new surprise—golden eagles overhead, seals playing in the surf, magical tide pools, and still more whales. We’re already planning our next visit to White Waters.

We loved our too-short stay at White Waters. The house is well provisioned in the kitchen and with appliances. The view is spectacular, and the bluff trail is steps from the house. The architecture of the house is beautiful, and the master bath is large and comfortable.
