This peaceful property is a showcase of its surroundings, with a multi-tiered deck wrapping around three sides of the house. Gualala is a charming coastal village on the Mendocino-Sonoma border, known for its art galleries, excellent restaurants, and access to stunning beaches. Gualala Point Regional Park is a short drive away with river kayaking, beach access, and bluff trails.
This is a place for scenic drives along California Highway 1, but you need not venture far to find wonderful activities. Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport (STS) in Santa Rosa is the nearest airport, about 1.5 hours east. A car is essential for exploring the area.
The upstairs bedroom is an open, loft-style room. Streaming services are available with guests' own account credentials. Bonus features include an additional sleeping loft, a private laundry room, and complimentary WiFi. December through April is whale season. You may spot gray whales breaching right from the bluff trail nearby. April through June brings stunning wildflower displays along the bluffs and throughout Gualala Point Regional Park. The warmest months run June to September. Coastal fog is common early in the day but gives way to sunshine by afternoon. Important: this home is very warm during the summer due to the copper dome roof — please keep the A/C set to 68 at all times to maintain a comfortable temperature.

This house has stunning views, unique architecture and luxurious amenities with tasteful furnishings. The beds are very comfortable. The beautiful coastline is a short drive away. You can find coffee, food and general groceries in Gualala which is just a few minutes away.
Guest service and overall quality of home as well as location
We spent 5 nights at Sequoia and we loved every minute of it. It was the perfect vacation that we envisioned. We found the house very clean and the kitchen items in very good shape to cook and the beds very comfortable. The view is incredible and we felt very relax and happy. We will come back. Thank you.
