From the kitchen to the deck, everything in this home is at your disposal. The private hot tub is available around the clock -- no reservation needed. Driveway parking is available at the property. Detailed check-in instructions, including the door code, will be provided prior to your arrival. As a guest, you also have access to Sea Ranch community amenities including the pools, tennis courts, fitness center, and miles of trails. A recreation pass will be provided.

This home is located in The Sea Ranch on the Sonoma Coast, a masterfully planned community known for its dramatic coastline, meadows, and forest trails. Nearby highlights include community heated pool (North) (a short 4-minute walk), Shell Beach tidepools (6-minute drive), The Sea Ranch Lodge restaurant, lounge and café (6-minute drive). Trails lead from your door to the bluffs, beaches, and through the forest. Heated pools, tennis courts, a fitness center, and The Sea Ranch Lodge round out the amenities. Gualala is a quick 10-minute drive south for groceries, dining, and fuel. For a scenic outing, Jenner and Bodega Bay are further down Highway 1.

Sea Ranch is located on the Sonoma Coast, approximately 2.5 hours north of San Francisco via Highway 101 to Highway 1. The closest airport is Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport (STS) in Santa Rosa, about 1.5 hours east. A car is essential for exploring the area. The scenic drive along Highway 1 is part of the experience.

Guests will have access to all three recreation centers in Sea Ranch. The recreation centers are Del Mar (north), Moonraker (south), and Ohlson (midway). Del Mar has a large heated outdoor pool, two tennis courts, and saunas. Moonraker has a small heated outdoor pool, a tennis/pickleball court, and saunas. Ohlson has a large heated outdoor pool, saunas, three tennis courts, a half-basketball court, and a volleyball court. The amenities pass allows for six guests at a time. If you have more than six guests in your party and everyone wants to use the amenities at the same time, you will need to purchase a day pass from the HOA. They are $5/guest per day. AS OF 07/30/25, Heads up -- there is an active construction project on the neighboring lot. Work typically takes place on weekdays from 7 AM to 7 PM, and occasionally on weekends. While it may result in some noise during those hours, evenings and most weekends remain peaceful and quiet. Exterior lighting is minimal by design to preserve the stunning dark sky -- bring a flashlight for evening walks and enjoy some of the best stargazing on the California coast. Whale watching season runs from December through April -- grab the binoculars and watch for gray whale spouts from your window. Spring (April-June) brings a wildflower show across the coastal meadows -- lupine, poppies, and iris paint the landscape. Summer (June-September) brings the warmest days and longest light. Morning fog is common along the coast -- it usually burns off by midday. Cell service can be spotty along the coast. The home has WiFi for staying connected.
