Charming French Inspired Villa, Dog Friendly Retreat with Patio, Pool & Tennis

Ship yard community is awesome. Condo was priced very reasonable but it needs to be updated. Couch in living room is not usable. Besides all the stains it was more comfortable to sit on floor. Dining room chairs were very cheap and flimsy. Bikes were awesome. Guest service was a great and unit was clean. Excellent location.

The location is perfect for an extended golf weekend. The unit was fine but could use some minor TLC.

Overall we enjoyed the stay, it had a good layout for families with ample seating for games and eating. Kitchen was functional without issue. Would have been nice to have a few more supplies in there but I guess as to be expected for rental and there are plenty of stores close by. One positive that was not in the listing was they had four bikes for use with locks, we had already reserved bikes though. As another review stated things were a little dated in areas but still functional. Also there was plenty of sleeping space for families upstairs and the bathroom setup was ideal.

Evian 140 was roomy and comfortable. The kitchen was big with a lot of supplies. Evian has a pool, tennis and pickleball courts and lots of places to walk. The unit had bikes to use.

Covered patio was nice.

The location and stay at the condo was overall fine. I love to stay at the Shipyard and this was our 4th year there. This rental looks like there was some cosmetic updates to the kitchen but the rest of the place could use some TLC. Despite the shabby appearance, this place suited our needs especially since I was travelling with my dogs. The bedding and towels were clean. The unit itself looked as if it had been swept and wiped well. The couches were not particularly comfortable, but the beds and pillows were. The only thing that grossed me out was in both bathrooms (but especially the bathroom next to the king sized bed) had mold growth. The one vent had significant black looking mold around the vent (the other vent had a small amount visible). The vents had a considerable amount of moisture accumulated on them when we got there, so it would probably be a good idea to circulate air when the unit is not occupied- and check on the attic. Regarding the kitchen, there was an odd mix of kitchen gadgets but we made do. Glasses and plates seemed clean, but there were a few pans that had old egg material in them. Some of the other pots and pans felt greasy. That needs to be looked at, but it was the previous occupant's responsibility to clean up after themselves. Although I was eaten up by mosquitos while in HHI, I am very pleased that I didn't see any other bugs or pests in the unit (other than the occasional opportunistic mosquito), which is very difficult in that environment. All in all, an enjoyable stay.
