Ocean view condo with 2 balconies, new pool complex, hot tub & sauna

Unit has a nice view and kitchen was well equipped. Water was actively leaking into unit from ceiling in the bathroom. I called vacassa, took pictures and sent to a mobile phone number provided by vacassa. We received no follow-up from vacassa or assistance. Unit was musty, damp and moldy. Wifi was not secure, it was a public access point without password protection.

Upon arrival the parking spots were too small and too close together. Once inside the villa there was barely an ocean view. There was a board game open and left out on the table. While unloading our luggage and getting our self situated, we started noticing things that the villa was not cleaned properly. There was hair left in the shower, hair in the drawers in the bathroom, an open bag of Oreos in the closet, and beauty products left in the medicine cabinet. We had 7 people staying in the villa, 3 adults and 4 kids. We were not given enough towels or wash clothes for everyone so we had to do more laundry than expected. Lights were missing lightbulbs. The shade in room B was broken so we could not let it down without the shade coming off the roller. We called to report/get fixed but no one came. The chairs in the living room were super comfy and reclined so that was a nice touch. There was a nice set of pots and pans to cook with. There was plenty of dinnerware and cooking utensils. The dish washer worked but it probably could use an upgrade. There was no soap in the bathrooms or kitchen. The washing machine sounded like it was going to take off. Very loud and shook very hard. The tiled showers were very nice but the hinges on the doors popped very loudly sounding like there were going to break getting in and out. The pool for “families”was nice and clean. They have what was called a “borrow box” located at the elevator in the parking garage that was filled with all sorts of beach and pool equipment/accessories, that was supper neat. We loved that idea and did use it a couple of times. We actually added to it when we left. All in all for the amount we paid for the week the villa portion could have definitely been better. Would definitely come back but request a different home.

Ease of making reservation and ease of checking in. Staff was the best. Very friendly.
