Serene, updated villa with WiFi, washer & dryer, central AC & pool

Good accommodation for up to 5 people (assuming 3 children) who are able to climb the narrow stairway to the apartment and the internal stairway to the bedrooms. All the necessary kitchen equipment is there to make dinner. The location of the apartment is within walking distance to the beach and to Coligny Plaza with many stores, cafes and restaurants.

AC did not work and they couldn't do anything to fix it. We requested to be moved somewhere else, only to be told no. They would bring a portable unit. Problem is the unit only cooled the top where it was placed but did nothing for downstairs.

This apartment was fabulous! Everything was exactly as described and/or seen in pictures. it was also in close proximity to every place we went too (less than 10 minutes). The host sent various messages ensuring we were good and even left a good bag upon our arrival. We are planning another trip soon and we will definitely be back.

We loved the location of the pool to the unit. However, we thought the pool hours were strict. The flashing lights and trespass warning were overkill right at 10pm. The thermostat couldn’t keep up with the outdoor temperatures. We couldn’t get our unit cooler than 73 during the entire stay which made sleeping upstairs more difficult. The king bed was broken and uncomfortable. The dish washer did not work which wasn’t a big deal. Guest services were wonderful and very accommodating for all our needs. There were plenty of towels and linens available which was great. We liked having a washer and dryer in our unit as well.

Check-in/check-out was easy and smooth, the space was clean, AC worked well, and location was close to everything. We always rent bikes (they were dropped off at the racks in the parking lot) when we come to HHI and we were able to get to Coligny and surrounding locations quickly on the bike paths. We didn't explore the pool or other areas of the property but I'd definitely stay here again in the future. They even provided a bag of snacks that was a nice touch :)

I booked my stay through Vrbo, for my kids spring break (March 21-31st), in the booking amenities a private pool was advertised and we were given a pool card for access, upon trying to enter the pool are we were told the pool wasn’t going to open until April 1st. I had to leave everyday with my kids and pay for access to swim at a hotel that had a running pool, I never got to enjoy my Vrbo the way that I was hoping to, and this became just a place to sleep. I would have chose to stay at an hotel or another location if I had known that the pool would not be up and running. I was nervous to see some of the previous reviews after booking, but when I arrived here the place was very clean, had everything we needed, they gave a welcome package the kids enjoyed the treats, plenty of blankets and pillows, and check-in and check-out was super easy. If the pool was accessible and I didn’t have to leave and pay money for my kids to swim somewhere else, I would have given my stay 5 stars, I gave it 3 stars because of the misleading advertisement and because Vacasa did not take responsibility and did nothing to make this situation better, rather they pointed the blame elsewhere.
