Beachfront home with private pool, expansive deck & breathtaking views

Proximity to beach, restaurants and other amenities

The view was great. Peaceful and relaxing. Close to shops by driving. Honestly I was disappointed with the maintaining of the house, has so much potential.

We had enough space for four adults and five children. We loved the pool and proximity to the beach. It seems like a much quieter spot than either end of the beach where the public parking is so that was nice. The bunk room is very tiny and my son who is 12 was an end on the bed and he is 5‘4“. So it would not work very well for average size adults or taller kids. I wish the hot tub would’ve been hot because it would’ve been nice to use at night. I understand that they only have one heating device for both the hot tub in the pool so this was not possible since the pool was already very warm without the heater and we were not about to pay that extra daily fee. The kitchen was renovated in the past couple years and is beautiful. I like the old pine floors through the house. The couches were comfortable. One thing that really should be done besides new doors and windows is the deck and stairs. It was not safe to go out there without shoes and there is no umbrella or shade so one of those automatic covers that comes out from the house would be a great solution for this and make the space usable during the day. Also waterproofing, the underside of the deck would allow for hanging outside if the weather is bad. Those things being said, we would absolutely stay here again. Nothing beats being on the beach!

The home might be older than some surrounding it, but the upgraded kitchen, the layout, the pool and the beach access cannot be beat! We went to sleep in the master bedroom nightly watching the waves and woke up to the sunrise on the beach. We are would definitely book again!

Older home was expected. Unexpected: Dirty and yellow pool upon arrival sandy/buggy bed sheets, dangerous decking that needs to be replaced due to water damage, sulfur smelling/moldy tile, old soaps left in showers, Yard unable to be used without shoes due to spiky/sharp weeds - constantly had to pick out of dog's paws. Several doors including bottom back door had lock/handle problems. The main air vent in the living room and others throughout house covered in brown dust. The icemaker did not produce enough ice at any point during the stay. There are holes in the floor of the kitchen that you can catch your foot on at the base of the oven. 1 star for location - perfectly distanced from main beaches and easy walk for family of all ages. 1 star for upgrades made to kitchen countertops and toilets 1/2 star for water temp - we never experienced a lack of hot water as some might expect with 10 people. For what one week's rental visit is worth, major improvements could be done to this home.

This a nice beach house with stunning oceanfront views and easy access for small children to the beach.
