Updated condo in beachfront complex with pools & hot tubs - walk to dining

We enjoyed the location and the outdoor amenities offered. The pull out couch was not the most comfortable & it is a very small unit. It is perfect for 2 people but I think it would be difficult with more people.

We had a beautiful, relaxing week in HHI. The condo is small, but perfect for a couple. I would not suggest anymore than 2 people staying here, I would feel too cramped. It was clean, awesome location and has great access to the beach and pool area! We loved it!

The Good - the next door property is Hilton and you get to use their amenities. Beach access is great. The bad- the condo smells bad, really bad. The damp, moldy, water damaged, mildew smell is so strong it’s like public restroom “urine” strong. The condo looks dilapidated and dirty, although not “dirty” except in corners and on paintwork and furnishings, the walls are covered in scuffs and dirt so the place feels way dirtier than it is. The bed in the bedroom leans to one side, the closet is full of crap and is dirty so you have nowhere to put anything. The bathroom door does not close without a lot of force, once closed, good luck getting back out without help. Fixtures in the bathroom have been painted to appear outdated, the peeling paint is as sharp as glass if you catch it. The water pressure is very low and the water smells even after running for a while. To have a sea view from the balcony you need to stand at the railing and look left- you have no view except from standing and finding it- a mirror placed on the balcony wall “reflects” the ocean from the left which makes you think that if you sit out there, you can see ocean… you can’t. There is a swing chair in the living room- in the condo folder it states that it’s for decoration and you can’t sit in it. This condo is so awful and I was so embarrassed in front of my friend. At 11pm it was obvious that the mildew and air quality was deeply affecting her asthma so I checked her into the Holiday Inn. Finally- there isn’t sufficient parking so on the first night I had to go off property to park and get an uber back to the condo. I am honestly not sure where the better reviews come from because this place is not only severely run down, the obvious water/leak/flood cover up job has created a health issue for anyone who stays there.

Literally couldn’t be happier with this rental - pics don’t do the surroundings justice - RIGHT on the beach and everything was absolutely beautiful.
