The best part about this property is the short walk to the beach. The small kitchen was well equipped to cook anything. We experienced leaks in the ceiling while we stayed that could not be fixed over the weekend--this resulted in us not being able to use one shower. Assuming that is now fixed, it would be a fine place to stay. Some of the beach equipment was in ill repair (the umbrella, for instance was completely broken) but having access to the wagon was incredibly useful!

This was a great rental for a trip to Hilton head - walking distance to a less crowded area of the beach and only a 15 minute walk to Coligny Plaza. The house was stocked with everything you need for a beach vacation, including a beach cart and a washer dryer in the unit, although they do not supply beach towels. The unit is older, but very well maintained. my four-year-old loves the bunkbeds and, while small, having two full bathrooms was wonderful. I will say this unit is more appropriate for families with older kids. The stairs are steep, and the balusters are far apart, making it unsafe for a newly ambulatory toddler. The open deck in the back with an alligator pond for local flavor is also nice in theory, but definitely not something I wanted my toddlers around without very close supervision. I would definitely rent this unit again, but not until my kids are older!

This is budget friendly way to stay at Hilton Head. The exterior of the buildings are a little outdated, but they're maintained. The unit itself was clean and well furnished. The bathrooms, dining area, and bedrooms have been updated in the past few years. The other guests in the other units were kind and friendly. The only issue we had was finding the beach access. There's no signage or information on where to go for the private access. For future renters: there's a sidewalk that runs between the two hotels across the street. Overall, we had a great experience. Vacasa was very professional and communicative. We will definitely consider staying here again in the future.
