2nd-floor home with screened balcony, on-site tennis, & pool - near beach

I love the location and the spaciousness of the house; however, the house needs to be kept in great shape by regular repairs like painting, and replacing worn out furniture. It has a lot of potential to be a 5 star rating with some attention to details. Our family had a great time on South Beach, and we look forward to returning again.

We love sea pines and this location was perfect. Easy access to beach, pool, pickleball and Salty Dog. Nice screened in porch and beautiful setting in the backyard, open space with lots of trees. However, the inside is a disaster. The bedding and towels had bugs and blood on them when we arrived, there is mold everywhere and the home has an overall terrible smell. Pool code worked for one day, then stopped working and we could never get another one. WiFi also didn’t work. Sliding door to outside in master doesn’t lock. The lack of response from the management was pitiful. It’s shame the house wasn’t better kept, it could be a wonderful retreat. I will never be using Vacasa again.

This home is situated in an ideal location. It is a quick walk to the beach and also the shops and restaurants at South Beach. The kitchen is well stocked and for the most part the home is in good condition. The unit could use updating and many of the walls are stained with water and mold. The rental company is also hard to reach and did not respond when multiple cockroaches were found in the upstairs bedrooms.

Great selection of beds to fit our needs .Worked well for our group of tennis ladies House was well furnished and the kitchen was well stocked.. Needs paint and some electrical work for plugs that do not work. Nothing too critical but a few small things and this place would be a 5 star..

We enjoyed our stay at this property and would probably come back. Like most places there were things we liked but also room for improvement. It is at the almost southern tip of the island so if it’s peak season then driving to coligny park area would be at least 25/30 minutes Pros Proximity to beach was good. Short walk to south beach. Right across from salty dog and bike rentals Community pool was heated and close to unit The unit was spacious and open and comfortable for two families Sea pines is awesome for bike riding and running Close to pickleball and tennis courts but it’s not free. Cons More outside noise than expected. Salty dog has live music till 10 and most nights had cars in/out. Loud blower every morning at 7 am cleaning pickleball courts. House needed just some little updates with some of the furniture. Also has a 1994 stereo in the main living room that needs to go. Tennis courts were not “shared” but $35 per hour. Checkin/check out procedures were easy. Quick customer service when propane tank was empty.
