Latitude Adjustment

Food and drinks froze in fridge even after turning it from 5(higher number colder temp) to 2, then 0. Could not turn off ceiling fans(no chain or switch).

The house was very nice. It had good ocean views from most of the windows which I thought was amazing. We would definitely book it again!!

We enjoyed our week. The house was cool and the TVs worked. Perfect space for 5 of us. The views from the bedroom and living room were stunning. Kitchen well stocked with pots and pans for cooking. Very quiet, I forgot we were on the main road. Loved the privacy of the back deck.

We loved the location of this house. It’s in a perfect spot with a very close walk to the beach. The views from the house are beautiful and you see the beach from every room. However the air conditioner cannot keep up with the heat outside therefore we had to keep the blinds closed the entire time. Pros: -Great views and location of the house -comfortable beds -Awesome storage room to roll in carts with beach stuff at the end of the day, or bikes. There is also a fridge out there to put in stuff out of the cooler without having to make trips up and down the stairs -big space for eating and kitchen. It was great for 6 adults and 2 kids and an infant -Vacasa called as we were arriving and an hour away to tell us the stove was broken and the part did not arrive in time. I told him we were relying on cooking and within 30 minutes they swapped out the stove with a spare they had before we even arrived. We really appreciated that Cons: -the air. You cannot lower the temperature less than 70. The AC cannot keep up with the heat outside. Our trip was from Saturday-Saturday and we had to leave Friday morning as the temperatures had climbed in the house to the upper 80s. We used the suggestion from the tenants to leave it at 72 and it did absolutely nothing. We sat outside at night because it was much cooler. Being 8 months pregnant and having an infant and small kids in the house this completely ruined the end of the trip and we left because it became unbearable and truthfully going back and reading the reviews the owners have done nothing to fix this issue. During the beginning of our trip it stayed in the mid 70s and would cool down at night where people could sleep comfortably but towards the end of the trip it just got too hot outside and the AC did not keep up. This also defeated the purpose of seeing the view, we tried to keep all blinds closed to keep it as cool as possible. It did nothing -WiFi is awful. We reset it like the manual on the fridge said to do, it still was choppy the entire time -the room downstairs smells like mold. It’s gross and very strong. I wouldn’t want anyone staying down there I cared about. It’s stuffy and the window unit is extremely loud. It also sprays out water the entire time it’s running so you will get wet as you’re entering the room -bathroom upstairs needs more hooks for towels. This is a small upgrade that would make a huge difference. It’s technically supposed to be for 6 people to use and only has 1 hook on the back of the door. - Bedroom with 2 queen beds needs some sort of dresser for clothes. It’s very small and with 4 people and luggage it becomes very messy and hard to get around -the air filter was filthy. It was in the kitchen and something we took a look at when the air was not running cold air and it was really dirty I can’t say I’d stay here again only because the same complaints are repeated and I truly wish I paid better attention to it. Specially regarding the air.

The cottage was clean. Ac is locked at 70 so can get warmer in the back bedroom. Nice location to beach.
