Gramling is described as a great value and a wonderful vacation home with a spacious, open layout that gave guests plenty of room to relax and gather. Guests found it comfortable, well maintained, clean, and exactly as presented, with big rooms, ample cabinet space, and a roomy kitchen that supported easy meal preparation and shared dining. Its location was frequently appreciated for being central to the island, with easy access to the beach and nearby conveniences. Guests also enjoyed the covered front porch, where rocking chairs and the sound of the waves added to the relaxing atmosphere. Outdoor features such as the warm outdoor showers, generous parking area, garage gathering space, and extra refrigerator space were especially appreciated. Overall, Gramling left guests with a relaxing and memorable stay and inspired many to say they would gladly return.

Overall the house is very spacious, plenty of cabinet space and plenty of room for everyone and the location is central to everything on Edisto Cons: No icemaker and only two trays to make ice, microwave was above the washer/dryer and hard to reach, some furniture and appliances need upgrading. The house is a corner lot with some traffic noise but not unbearable. The lot itself needs some major TLC as far as appearance. Finally, we would consider to rent again the price point is a good value

Great location. Easy access from Jungle and Lybrand. Big out door shower which I love at the beach!

The house has a nice roomy kitchen. Could use a couple nice sharp knives. The refrigerator was quite small for us. However we did find an old refrigerator down in the car port area which helped for overflow and extra ice. The ice machine was not working; not hooked up to water?? There is a Keurig coffe machine and a Cuisine Art coffe maker; it uses cone filters and the pot is a carafe only; it does not keep coffee warm!! There are rocking chairs on covered front porch perfect for morning coffee or in later afternoon after beach. Beach is straight down the road about 2 1/2 blocks. There are several places to park for the day at the beach or to drop off people and beach stuff. . We got a big beach buggy to haul stuff that worked well for us. We actually enjoyed the short walk. We liked the fact that the fresh Edisto seafood market was 2 minutes away so that we could get something fresh every day. There is a very small Food Lion very close as well ( they do not carry Wasabi; only the seafood place !) The house is located on a very busy corner so at certain times of day there is a lot of traffic and car noises.The only thing we had trouble with was the TV. They warn you right away that you may need some tech knowledge to get it working. We struggled for a long while with each person taking a turn; after we figured out the remote had been switched with another remote in a bedroom then we eventually figured it out. We like to try different places each year but have actually discussed coming here again. We had a very nice time and stay
