We have been vacationing at Edisto for over 20 years and always drove past this house on our many golf cart rides wondering what it would be like inside. The home is filled with so many handmade features and eclectic touches from the past. We loved the beachy treehouse feel and especially appreciated the porch and outdoor shower, which even had hot water! This house was in a great central location within the town of Edisto Beach and was only a brief walk or bike ride from the beach access. This home felt much more tucked away from activity than many other houses on the island and sits on a large lot which gave us plenty of privacy as well. What made this home even more unique was that it was circular. While that was what drew us to picking this house, there were aspects of its shape that took away some of the functionality that a regular home would have. Just be aware for individuals with mobility issues that there are a few tighter spaces due to the positioning of the angled walls and furniture. We learned that the indoor spiral staircase was not for the faint of heart, but thankfully we enjoyed the porch so much that we preferred to use the outdoor stairs anyways! This house is truly special, carefully curated, and offered a cozy stay!

We went with another couple and loved the fact that upstairs and downstairs were like two separate houses. The set up was perfect. It was beautifully tucked away so when you sat outside you could watch the deer walk by but close enough to the beach and a parking area that it wasn’t inconvenient to get to the beach.

Unique bungalow on a nice wooded property close to the beach. However the spiral staircase takes a lot to get used to....

We thoroughly enjoyed the exclusivity of the picturesque and natural setting, we were practically unable to see the neighbors, which is uncommon on such a small island. They had a brand-new outdoor shower and a star-gazing deck, my children and I never utilized the shower inside the entire duration of our stay. The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped with all the essentials and more. Furthermore, there were two of them, one upstairs and one downstairs. We loved this house and cant wait to return!
