Sweet Carolina

This was our second time staying at Sweet Carolina. It was just as enjoyable as the first time. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals. Feels like home away from home! Good location, too! We'll stay here again whenever we get a chance!

The ice machine wasn’t working and the WiFi had to be rebooted several times. Other than that the unit was great!

The house is clean and well stocked with all the amenities you could needed. It is a short walk to the private beach and town isn't far away.

We have stayed in Sweet Carolina several times and love the decorations and comfortable furnishings. The kitchen is fully stocked. We enjoyed riding the golf cart to the shore and finding shark teeth, fossils and shells. This is a beautiful private beach with several nice kept houses and neighborhoods. It is also gated. The residents are very friendly. The white egrets are so beautiful wading in the marshes. We love this area so much. The owners keep this house in great shape along with the VACASA team. Thank you for allowing us to visit and relax.

Beautiful home right in the middle of the island, no cars, trains or planes. Just the sound of waves crashing and the wild life. We enjoy sitting on the beach at night counting satellites orbiting the earth around 20 each night, didn't know there were so many stars in our galaxy:)

If you're looking for front row seats to surf, shots and seafood restaurants, then this isn't the place for you. But if you're in search of a lovely home in a quiet inner-coastal setting within a 5 minute walk to a 1.5 mile long rural beach with the population density of the Sahara Desert, then this is the place for you. The house itself is a clean, modern, very well maintained 3 bedroom, 2 bath stilt home with 2 car covered parking. The floorplan nicely accommodates early risers and it may be the best equipped home we have ever rented - anywhere. The kitchen accessories and BBQ allowed us to prepare an endless supply of home cooked meals and treats. It was truly like we had moved to the coast. And the low-maintenance grounds setting melts seamlessly into the natural landscape. The open bright floorplan, large bay windows and covered 2nd story porch provide ample viewing of the Great Blues, Spoonbills and Egrets that frequent the neighboring marsh. The house is situated on Jeremy Cay, a private beach community dedicated to peace, quiet and an appreciation for the natural surroundings. This is not the neighborhood for binge drinking volleyball games while howling at the moon. You're there for the peace, quiet and serenity of a southern coastal experience that few people get to experience anymore. We arrived looking for a rental near the beach. What we discovered was a second home.
