Aloha Friday

This home was spacious and accommodating for our party of seven and a short, 5-minute walk to the beach. The full kitchen was perfect for our needs. Great for families with teens. Our teens selected the downstairs queen bed with en suite bathroom and mini living room setup. They were not underfoot, and could stay up late watching movies without keeping the younger kid and adults awake. :) This home had a variety of maintenance issues (including structural issues with the flooring) that I informed the property management team of so that they could be addressed. Pros: Fantastic front porch. Spacious layout. 4 bedrooms. 3 bathrooms. Full kitchen. Outside shower. Cons: House is not level. Some readings I took with my iPhone ranges between -1 to -4 in some spaces. Due to this, the laminate floor is separating in multiple places in the kitchen. There was notable water damage on two walls. Other minor repair issues. Beds were comfy, though I recommend updating to more solid furniture (less squeaky, more solid put-together feel). Living room was spacious. Could use a better clean, including taking rugs out at least quarterly for a deep clean. Recommend a more diverse assortment of glassware as every meal and for cocktails - we used coffee mugs or a stemmed glass. Upgrading cooking pots and pans recommended as the teflon was coming off many non-stick surfaces. Overall, the location and space were worth it. Structural repairs and a few updates would easily make this a 5-star property. Property management was lovely to work with - keys were easy to obtain and return. PM was always pleasant and helpful.

It is an older home but it has character. It is only a short walk to 2 beach accesses. The screened in porch is a nice touch and perfect for our four legged friends. Perfect for a getaway to the beach.

This house was the best place to have my honeymoon. It had been so long since I was able to be at the beach and this place was the perfect place, it was a good location and just a wonderful atmosphere in the local community. The house itself was fantastic and a perfect fit for our needs ,the porch was one of my favorite places in the house, you are always able to hear the ocean waves. That’s where we spent every morning drinking our coffee.

We loved this family home. Just across the road from the beach, we had a great porch to enjoy the evenings. We were close to restaurants and shopping as well. We had plenty of room for 4 adults and 5 grandchildren! The table with a bench and chairs was great for eating and playing Uno. The hose pipe was good for rinsing feet for short walks on the beach the outside shower was great for the day long trips to the sand.

We loved the home's location and the ease of accessing the beach with our small children each day. The house has settled in a way that has caused a significant "droop" on each side and, in turn, has caused damage to the flooring throughout the main areas of the home. In agreement with past reviews, the bathrooms are quite small, as is the kitchen area. However, the table, along with the bar seating, provides more than enough space for a large family. We loved the screened porch and spent several evenings enjoying it. The air conditioning for the main living areas didn't seem to cool the bedrooms, and even with the window units, it was a little warmer than I find comfortable.

The only redeeming quality is the porch and location. Bugs took over the home (roaches, caterpillars, ants, and fruit flies). Pictures deceiving on size. Everything is small and feels dirty. The entire house is unleveled and feels like it could fall down. Vacasa and the cleaners did what they could, but the owners clearly don’t care about or maintain this home. It’s a tear-down. The kitchen is gross and disorganized. I’ve never complained or written a review like this, but the house is in very very bad shape.
