Nice and cozy house, as well as, perfect location with an easy access to anything you need for your getaway in Park City, UT.
We were here to visit our son who plays on the NCDC hockey team in park city & it was a perfect space for all our needs
The Unit is cute. However I’m really disappointed with our experience with Vacasa. I recognize that they have policies around lost and found items, and I appreciated the initial communication and the offer to help. I reported a missing water bottle immediately after checkout and offer to grab it while we are in town then was first told it would be mailed to my address, then later told I could pick it up locally—by which time we had already left town. What has been most frustrating is that I only receive updates after sending multiple follow‑up messages, and even after the next guests checked out on the 6th, I still haven’t received a clear answer on whether the item was ever recovered. Following 3/11, Manager responded confirming that item can no longer be found. My original thoughts were so right, stringing and gaslighting us along is what they do. For a company managing so many vacation rentals, I expected more proactive and consistent communication. This experience has made me much less confident in relying on their customer service.
This is our second time staying here and not sure we will be returning. The hot tub jets didn't work (they fixed it the 2nd day), the tub faucet came shooting out of the wall while taking a shower twice the first night & asked them to fix it & it did it again twice the next night. The toilet wouldn't flush when we got there, so we asked them to fix it & it still wouldn't flush the 2nd night. For what we paid, I should have either had a functioning room or a refund/discount but all I got was a sorry. We had cleanliness issues on our first stay 2 yrs ago, so I think it's time to just stay somewhere else!
I would say this location made this property! The location is next to all the shopping and restaurants. I do have some comments for areas of improvement. Upon arrival, the floors were not clean. Especially in the kitchen and the upstairs patio. The upstairs patio had bottle caps and cigar butts all over it. The big beautiful patio windows were so dirty. I had to sweep the kitchen floor myself, and there were food crumbs on the couch. Which I notified management about. We were also very disappointed for a few reasons. There wasn’t a single condiment, no coffee filters, no seasonings, foil to cook with nothing. This is the first house we’ve ever staying in that we have had to buy coffee/filters and all condiments. Secondly, we received an email that we could to extend to a late check out. We were out of town for a sports tournament and needed the extra few hours to come back to the house and check out. Once I tried to book the late check out, they said sorry for the miscommunication there is no late checkout. I checked the bookings calendar and the house wasn’t booked, this was very disappointing. I would say that the master bedroom was very nice and comfortable, and the hot tub was a very nice addition. I think prior communication about lack of condiments, offering to fix the cleanliness and fixing the issue for late check out we would have come back to this townhome because the location was very nice. Also, only a car will fit in this garage. It should be noted that you will not get an SUV in this garage. This information was also not in the listing.
