This condo is about one mile from Park City and Main Street, 3 miles from Deer Valley and Canyons Village and one block from the shuttle stop. It is beautifully maintained with all the amenities you would want. I would highly recommend it.
We spent our Christmas to New Year’s holiday in this condo, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The location is fantastic, nestled in the Park Meadows neighborhood with easy access to the Park City bus system. The space was adequate for our family of four, including two teenagers, and the garage was a great amenity during the chilly nights. We appreciated the number of beds (1 King and two singles), which provided a perfect sleeping arrangement for a family with children. The condo also features a loft, which is perfect for accommodating additional guests. The fireplace was a wonderful touch, keeping us warm and allowing us to dry our ski boots after a long day on the slopes. The large deck with a grill would be ideal for a hot tub. While the condo met our needs, it felt like it could benefit from a refresh and some personal touches. Upon arrival, we had difficulty locating the unit (especially since we arrived after sunset), and it was completely dark—there was no porch light on. Additionally, the keypad lock required a lengthy code, which felt excessive, and we struggled to turn on the lights once inside. There were no local instructions or a welcome letter, which are common in vacation rentals. A bit of local knowledge would have been helpful and would have added a touch of hospitality. We had to figure out things like Wi-Fi, TV operation, garbage and recycling sorting, and local bus stops on our own, which made our arrival feel a bit cold and unwelcoming. The accommodation itself is suitable, but the kitchen area definitely needs a refresh. The layout and appliances are nice, but the cooking utensils, cutting knives, coffee pot, and skillets need to be replaced. We also noticed several pantry shelves with food crumbs, dust, and spilled sugar, which could attract pests in warmer months. Additionally, there was dust lingering in the bedroom areas. The second shower, located off the kitchen downstairs, is a bit awkward to use. It’s tight and has a low ceiling, making it challenging for even an average-sized adult. The shower water knob is also reversed, so hot is actually cold, which was an unwelcome surprise. This all contributes to the feeling that the unit needs some personal attention. The master bedroom bed was uncomfortable and quite low to the ground. We also found that VaCasa guest services were not very helpful when we inquired about a few items. In summary, you can’t beat the location (Racquet Club/Park Meadows), and the nightly rate was on the lower end for this time of year. However, a little sprucing up could really make this place shine.
Great quiet location. Nicely updated. Good wifi and comfy beds. Easy check-in and checkout. Nice garage access. Great fireplace. Note to future renters, only one smallish tv but lots of channels. Small washer/dryer. No hairdryer. Second bathroom is located on first floor while both bedrooms on second floor. All of this was not a problem for us and we would stay again.
I rented this house for a ski trip with my kid. It's clean and got everything we needed. Also, only minutes from the ski lift and the historical downtown.
The home was as advertised and suited our needs. Unfortunately, there was not one item of additional bedding and limited worn pillows so we ordered on Amazon. Mgmt. Company did deliver some bedding on third day. The hot water handle in primary bathroom did not work and they were not able to fix while we were there.
