We had a wonderful stay at the "Bear House" during our ski trip to Deer Valley in Park City, Utah. The check-in process was seamless, and we appreciated receiving an early notification that the house was ready just as we arrived in town. The home itself was very clean, spacious, and came with plenty of amenities. The large garage was fantastic and made parking easy and convenient. Internet access was excellent throughout our stay. The décor was minimal yet tasteful, featuring nice touches like photos from the Sundance Film Festival. Upstairs bedrooms were comfortable, and the fireplace created a cozy atmosphere. The downstairs bedroom featured two twin beds, which were somewhat small for our needs. Additionally, the downstairs bedroom TV had no cable connection, limiting its usability. However, the family room TV was large, worked very well, and included a massive selection of DVDs to choose from. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, cups, and utensils, making meal preparation easy. The location was fantastic—only a short walk into town, making it convenient for picking up food and essentials. Deer Valley Resort was just a quick four-minute drive away. While we noticed there was a nearby bus stop for the free ski buses, we didn't utilize this as we had a car. After a day of skiing, the hot tub was a highlight—clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxation. The neighborhood was quiet, and access to the home was straightforward. A charming large wooden bear sculpture outside the house quickly became a landmark for my kids, who affectionately named our rental the "Bear House." There were a few minor issues: all the humidifiers provided were broken and somewhat dirty, and the bathrooms lacked towel hooks, making towel storage inconvenient. Additionally, we discovered late in our stay that a garage door opener was provided; it would have been helpful to have this noted clearly in the house instructions. Overall, it was a great stay, and we’d definitely recommend this property to others looking for convenience, comfort, and proximity to Deer Valley and Park City.

walking to main street is very easy and deer valley transit pick up is right outside the door!

We especially loved the location right by the bus stop. It made getting to the two ski resorts a snap - 10 minutes or less to both Deer Valley or Park City.

Good: -Location to Main Street and Deer Valley/Park City -All amenities described in the listing for your stay are provided -Private Hot tub out back is a nice way to end your ski day Bad: - Living room furnishing and comfort. If you have a group of 3 or more, plan on having to sit on dining room chairs to watch TV -Most furnishing could use a cleaning or replacing, as noted by the 70's green chairs in the living room
