The heat is set on a constant 62 and could not be changed. We contacted the renting agency and someone came when we were not there and it was changed to 64. We just used the oven to heat the downstairs, that worked great. If you have a car I would not recommend staying here for there is no place to park. You have to keep your car intown and use Uber or walk to your car. which was not very convenient. The electronic lock needs to be looked at for sometimes it worked perfectly and other time you can spend 5 to 10 minutes. Once we were outside for about 40 minutes to try and get it to work. Could of been weak batteries, but needs attention. The place was clean and the furniture was comfortable for 2 adults. If you do not drive and it's just 2 people you will probably enjoy especially if a couple small issues were fixed.

Views are awesome. Proximity to downtown great if you walk often. Very steep roads! Stairs down to house (only access in winter) has to be cleared by me. Back breaking work. Very precarious snow situation. Parking space has to be cleared by me also. So not consider staying here if you're not fit for manual labor

This little bungalow was cozy, charming and easily accessible to main street. Somewhat steep stairs down to front door from street only noticeable when lugging my suitcase/gear up and down but nothing crazy. Great for 2 people, comfy memory foam (?) bed, you walk down the stairs from the street to the front door which then leads directly to the upper level of the home (living room loft w/ 1/2 bath), then you take the stairs down to the second level where the kitchen, full bath and bedroom are. Floors were heated which was lovely. Historical and charming.

Proximity to old town and lifts made the trip very easy.

House was as advertised; nice location for walking to town. House was clean. Only issue is treacherous parking—might have difficulty if you have a very large vehicle. We made it work with a sedan.
